TWO UNIQUE STEMLAB SCHOOLS
Learn more about two EDWorks STEMLab schools:
Delta High School
Delta High School's integrated curriculum created by EDWorks and teams of local education and science professionals. The school has strong partnerships with businesses and universities that tie to curriculum, including Washington State University Tri-Cities where students attended a two-day program where they took part in labs covering crime scene investigation, DNA study and robotics. There is also an ongoing archeology site near campus where students participate in inquiry-based projects related to historic Missoula floods.
Reynoldsburg eStem Academy
Ohio's Reynoldsburg eStem academy has a special focus on environmental science. Students are engaged in innovative thinking and problem solving, while examining today's and tomorrow's environmental and social issues. Through engineering design challenges, students work in teams to solve real-world problems through design. The school also uses the surrounding natural environment to teach with an on-campus wetland learning center.
