Esther Hopkins

Esther Hopkins is a career educator with over 35 year experience. She has a vast array of experience at all levels of education including classroom teacher, department chairperson, Pathwise trainer, district science resource teacher, district science supervisor, building level graduate program teacher and coordinator, state science consultant, state assessment item reviewer and state teacher assessment committee facilitator. Esther was part of the State of Ohio’s science consultants that developed the current revision of the State’s science standards and model curriculum. Esther was a member of the Council of State Science Supervisors when the National Science Education Framework was developed and reviewed, and she continues to work as a volunteer as a member of Ohio’s Leadership Team for review of the National Science Standards. She will serve as a primary reviewer for the National Science Education Standards.
