Educator’s Knowledge Network: A Cross-Cutting Learning Platform
Effective knowledge sharing and co-creation is an essential element of the EdWorks national results-driven online system. Educator's Knowledge Network (EKN) is an online, peer-to-peer knowledge-sharing community being co-created with practitioners, for practitioners. Initially launched as an online learning community for teachers in Ohio, EKN will be expanded to support all segments of the national EdWorks high school system, from the schoolhouse to the statehouse.
EKN builds the capacity of leaders to plan, deliver, and sustain a high-challenge, personalized educational experience for each student. EKN's essential function is to provide a platform for knowledge exchange in support of continuous improvement in practice, and development of 21st century skills. By providing resources, tools, and opportunities for professional connection, feedback, and leadership, EKN increases the speed at which innovation moves to scale.
